Welcome to Dream Beyond Your Journey, A FARR-Certified Recovery Residence for Women with Children
Dream Beyond Your Journey is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing a safe, supportive home for mothers building a new chapter in recovery with their children by their side.
We serve women ages 21–43, each with their own unique story and path forward. Some are preparing to welcome their first child. Others are working toward reunification. All are embracing recovery from substance use disorder and moving toward a brighter, more empowered future. We are proud to be the only Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR)-certified home of our kind in the Tri-County area, ensuring the highest standards of safety, dignity, and care for the women and families who live here.
Together, we rise.
Together, we recover.
Together, we dream beyond the journey.

Our Mission
Dream Beyond Your Journey’s mission is to create a positive and safe environment where mothers with children can break generational cycles of substance and alcohol misuse and mental health challenges. We empower women through in-house support, mentorships, and healthy social circles.
Our Vision
Dream Beyond Your Journey envisions a world where all mothers have access to equitable opportunities to attain fulfillment regardless of their past.
After high school, I joined the Army with big dreams of a bright future, but addiction soon took hold, and my life shifted in a direction I never imagined. When I became a mother, my desire to live returned. Still, I learned quickly that “children alone can’t keep you clean.” For four years, my family cared for my son while I struggled to escape the grip of addiction.
Eventually, I surrendered and gave recovery a chance. In that process, I discovered how to become a mother with hope, and a woman capable of contributing to the world around me. My son, Donavin, and I began to build a future together. One filled with purpose and love.
In 2013, when God called him home at just 20 years old, my world shattered once again. I questioned everything. But through the unwavering support of my family, friends, a loving 12-Step recovery community, and my faith in a God of my understanding, I found strength to keep going. I found a purpose greater than my pain.
With the guidance of my sponsor and the example of the women who lifted me up, I chose to turn my experience into service. That calling became Dream Beyond Your Journey. Today, I am dedicated to helping mothers in recovery love themselves, heal, and grow with their children for as long as God allows us to be stewards of His precious little ones. This is not just my story. It is the heartbeat of our mission and the reason Dream Beyond Your Journey exists.
